About
In 2005, Mark and Paul Bailey became the owners of the Wausau Tennis Center, bringing a high level
of professional experience to local tennis. To this day, the facility continues to offer exceptional indoor
tennis opportunities in Central Wisconsin. In 2023, pickleball was introduced into the facility. We
believe this is a great addition to the established tennis program. In 2024, we changed the name of
the facility from Wausau Tennis Center to Wausau Tennis and Pickleball Center to include our newest
programs.
Our facility is, and will always be, committed to being a family-orientated indoor tennis and pickleball
center; offering a variety of membership options at an affordable price. Our comprehensive tennis and
pickleball programs include playing, coaching and competing opportunities for players of all ages and
abilities.
The Wausau Tennis and Pickleball Center is conveniently located in downtown Wausau, Wisconsin.
Our facility has four indoor tennis courts, with set up for eight indoor pickleball courts. The center has
men and women’s changing rooms, reception area, lounge area with coffee and cable television and

The owners
Co-owners Mark and Paul Bailey
Mark and Paul are both fully qualified professional tennis coaches with Level I, II and III HKTA/British Tennis Association coaching certification. They both have over 30 years of tennis coaching experience having worked for the Hong Kong Tennis Association, Hong Kong Institute of Sport, Malaysian Tennis Association and sports clubs in Asia. Mark played university tennis at Kentucky and Paul played at both Vanderbilt and San Diego State. Both represented Hong Kong at ITF Davis Cup and were ranked in the top 50 in the ITF Junior World rankings.
